Read this article, "Pentagon drops 180 faiths from military's recognized religions list", https://www.foxnews.com/person/h/anders-hagstrom#&_intcmp=fnc_politics_article_main-content_article-header_3_1_anders-hagstrom, and to borrow someone else's (what do you call xx lawyers at the bottom of the sea, a good start), that's what this is. Our Constitution and form of government is based on Christian belief, not a specific denomination but the belief in a supernatural God who rules in the affairs of men. A good question can be raised that if you don't believe in that why are you willing to fight and perhaps die for this country? If I was a soldier on my death bed and calling for a Chaplin, the first question I would not want him to ask is which one of "31 beliefs" I held, so he would know how to "comfort me". Any Chaplin who is not a "born again believer" and knows how to lead a person to a saving knowledge of Christ is just playing a part. I realize that for some of you that is harsh but the truth is there is only one "narrow way" of salvation but many broad ways that lead to destruction (Matthew 7:14, "Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.") Romans 12:13, "For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved." identifies an exclusive path to salvation. The Old Testament has the same message in Joel 2:32a, "And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be delivered". Moses delivered the same message in the wilderness when Israel sinned, God sent serpents to destroy the sinners but had Moses make an image of a serpent, put it on a pole and told the people who were bitten to "look" to the image and be saved. This is all about faith but also the object of that faith, which is Jesus and him alone. Thirty one different Chaplin's is a jobs program not a ministry and if you think that is not showing love, consider that Jesus died for the sins of everyone (John 3:16), and 2 Peter 3:9, "The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance."
Saw this article, "Trump hints at breakthroughs in Iran talks, says killing US troops is red line for war", on FOX. So, Trumps "red line" for war has moved from opening the Strait to killing US troops. Then try an understand this comment, "Trump also said that the Iranian military had been wiped out.", if the military is wiped out who is doing the shooting? While I (and almost everyone) can appreciate that killing US troops is a "red line", what does that say about killing a Kuwaiti during an alleged ceasefire? A country that was non even part of the original conflict, means they don't count for anything? In case anyone missed the comment about Trump's ego getting in the way of good decision making, how about this comment, "A lot of people would say that I've ended eight wars and soon to be a ninth," Trump told reporters in the Oval Office on Thursday. I hope that works out to, you know, frankly, it's probably, and there's another one also that could be 10," he said while making an announcement on clean coal." And finally this, "Well, it would be a good reason. I'd be honest with you. Yeah, if they kill U.S. troops, I think I would do that very quickly," he said about resuming the military action.", which sounds less like a "red line" and more like "something to think about". This is definitely not the Donald Trump I voted for three times. Right now I'd have to say I'm glad he can't run for a third term, the presidency has become about "him" and not the country (unless it reflects good on him). Basically, Trump first and country second, the only thing that's saving this arrangement is Trump is still a patriot under all that ego. Again, still a Trump supporter, no matter what he does he still has the country's interest in mind (as opposed to the democrats), even if he may be seeing it occasionally in the "rear view mirror".
60 Minutes has been so obviously biased for so long, I dont give it 60 seconds of time. They have patted themselves on the back for so long they expect people to bow before them. Its sweet justice to know Pelley was fired. May more follow.
The exposure of RINOS is interesting but the games in Congress are ridiculous. Its insulting that we actually pay those people. We need to remove most & start over. They have no idea of what united & indivisible mean. Dont they take an oath when they they take office? Too many are spitting on their oaths while they degrade our country & make the rest of the world think America is weak.
Thank you. Boy Columbus Circle is getting cleaned up and Thomas Massey is getting his office cleaned out. Are we now demonstrating MAGA to potential buyers?
I stopped watching when Morley Safer left. He actually let the interviewee speak much more than himself. My favorite interview that Morley did was with David McCullough on sixty minutes which is still on YouTube. A very patriotic interview!
"Nuclear Family Month" took me moment longer than it should have. My first thought was that it was about family members of Tennessee Valley Authority employees.
I’m so glad Scott Pelley has been fired by CBS. Him and Colbert can just wallow in misery👏👏👏
RIP Peabo Bryson. He’s one of my favorite singer back in my younger days🥺

Their oath taking is just a Performative ACT, that they immediately try to forget they ... EVER said !!!

Awesome commentary
Thank you. Blessed by today's verse Isaiah 41:13
"For I the LORD thy God will hold thy right hand, saying unto thee, Fear not; I will help thee."
