My favorite sentence and the most maddening thing to me: "...but we’ve learned only too well in recent years that laws don’t apply to well-connected Democrats (let’s hope that’s another “norm” that Trump shatters.)". My dream is cases are reopened, and Lois doesn't get away with her crimes. The same holds true with the many others from the last corrupt Democrat administrations (former CIA directors, FBI leadership, Mayorkas, etc., etc...). I believe this doesn't occur because of the fear of tit-for-tat political reprisals with each new alternating party's election. But that's not law. If crimes were indeed committed, they should be punished. We should demand accountability in government. When a politician or CIA/FBI director lies under oath and it is later discovered, they should be prosecuted.
This is not the usual thing I comment on but a day or so ago there was an article about a child who fell overboard from a Disney cruise ship. The father jumped in after the child and both were picked up safety by the cruise ship crew. Today this appeared, "Disney Fans Turn On Cruise Dad Who Jumped In Water To Rescue Daughter", written like this should be a surprise. This small clip also exposed that the child was five years old, not included in the original story. Being experience cruisers I can personally affirm that no one "falls overboard" accidentally. There is absolutely nothing dangerous about being on a cruise ship. If you go overboard you are either doing something foolish that puts you in danger, not paying attention to your children, or drunk. I'm glad the father went after the child, it was the right thing to do, but it was also after having not been doing the "right thing" to begin with.
Read this, "'Disappointing' DOGE: Federal workforce shrinking by just 1% shows bureaucracy's entrenchment, experts say", https://www.foxnews.com/person/n/greg-norman, which is the "true story" behind Musk's frustration, but the "final numbers" are not yet in, nor is this just a matter of the bureaucracy, the courts have had a strong hand in thwarting the Trump agenda as well. That being said, rather then "bad news" this is the strongest support for maintaining several republican terms "like Trump's", where this "statistic" can be whittled away over time. Again, the debt was not incurred all at once and (like weight) reducing it always takes longer then putting it on.
I read this, "High school seniors see red when they learn the size of the national debt", https://www.foxnews.com/person/s/glenn-sacks, and it's a "cute opinion piece" until you realize that the writer "forgot" to include that this same school system failed to teach the true history of America and it's success based on faith and capitalism, that the school system actually endorses the ideology behind the national debt, and is itself funded buy those who are the strongest supporters of socialism (the plan of the open hand). Is our debt atrocious, YES, is it the problem, NO. The debt is merely the evidence of the problem. That why "fiscal hawks" are so ineffective and hard to deal with, they focus on debt and ignore all of the things that have caused the debt. You can't solve the debt until you address the cause, or to put it another way, they need to listen, learn and follow Trump.
Read this article, "Rep. MTG to introduce bill requiring proof of citizenship to vote, new census that only counts citizens", https://www.foxnews.com/person/n/alex-nitzberg, which is a great move and absolutely constitutional. The only unfortunate thing I see is that it is needed at all. This is the only correct way to allocate everything based on census, and federal election eligibility was never open to non-citizens so there is no justification for congressional apportioning to be based on anything but citizenship numbers. 1) This does not disenfranchise illegals because they have no right to be here, and 2) it encourages legal immigrants to take the steps to become a citizen, which is the only just reason for their being here.
Read this, "ACLU sues to block ICE raids in Southern California, alleging constitutional violations", https://www.foxnews.com/person/d/michael-dorgan, which while the "ruling" has not yet been made this is now the second judicial work around to the SCOTUS immigration decision. When you have nothing but "SCOTUS light decisions" you're not actually making progress, just staying in the game.
Read this, "Jeffries stalls Trump's 'big, beautiful bill' for hours after House GOP mutiny breakthrough", https://www.foxnews.com/person/e/elizabeth-elkind, and can't express how stupid this "Magic minute" (something extended to the minority leader) is, and the House for having it. I can understand it was someone's idea of giving the "losers" one last chance to speak, but why in the world would you allow it to go on indefinitely? Stop this nonsense and do the work of government. Do I even like this bill other then that is it contains as least a hint of Trump's fiscal wisdom, NO, but it been driven by a broken system and it's all we're going to get so get it over with.
Read this article, "Trump's 'big, beautiful bill' stalls in House amid conservative mutiny threats", https://www.foxnews.com/person/e/elizabeth-elkind, and all of this playing around is beyond ridiculous. It is impossible now to even recognize the initial House bill. You can keep calling it the BBB all you want but it's anything but. Like the person who is hopelessly in debt, whose only out is bankruptcy, I'm ready to accept that might be our only real solution with the only exception being Social Security. Yes, I'm collecting SS, but that's not the reason I've made it the exception. It is the exception because it's where our government first started going down this debt road. They robbed SS, which was supposed to be separate, in order to finance their excess spending. Excluding it from default is only restoring the integrity of what never should have been compromised. After default the federal government would owe the states nothing, they would owe bond holders nothing (an Yes, I'm one of those), they would owe investors nothing who assumed increased risk that was clearly getting out of hand, either domestic or foreign. All outstanding government commitments would be cancelled and with it the elimination of all supporting staff to manage them, including redundant federal courts. The government could restart with a clean slate that focused on national defense (domestic and foreign), trade protection, and international relations, all within the limits of available annual income. I know there are a few other Constitutional obligations I've not listed for brevity but the point is eliminating all of the things that have been "attached" to the federal ATM for no real reason then greed, and stopping when it is clear you're reaching the "available" income. I know this is extreme, but you tell me how else we can break this cycle with Congress involved? O, let me add that with default all Congressional staffs would have to be eliminated and only added back (if at all) as the last item on the new federal "to do" list. Congressman would have to become a working a job again.
Read this article, "Obama-appointed judge strikes down Trump order preventing asylum requests, protections for illegal immigrants", https://www.foxnews.com/person/d/breanne-deppisch, and as I predicted it did not take a liberal judge long to find a way around the SCOTUS immigration ruling, as weak as it was. All you needed to do was identify all illegals as a "class". Will this be appealed, certainly, but the game goes on because SCOTUS is not playing to win. They are every bit as must the judicial problem as the lower courts.
I got into the comment war with the bulldog, but dropped out. Maybe I should relate what I really think.
That is: No one should be dependent on the government, but, everyone should be dependent on God.
Family is the primary caretaker: parents of children when young, and later children of parents. Honor your father and mother, that your days may be long on this earth, and, he who will not care for his family is worse than a heathen. When family falls down, the church should move in, not abdicate that responsibility to the state.
In a phased manner, Medicaid, Medicare, and Social Security should be done away with at the federal level. Until churches can get back into it, all medicaid-like services should be handled by the individual states as their voters decide. Medicare can also be handled by the states, as can retirement systems.
I worked over 30 years for a state university. During those years, I had taken out of my salary before I saw it income tax, social security tax, medicare tax, dependent's health insurance and state-required retirement that equaled SS and Med. In total, I don't remember exactly but I took home about 75% of my actual pay. And the state also matched several of those so that my "total compensation" was substantially more than I ever saw at the time. (For twenty years of that time, I worked a second, part-time job to help make ends meet.)
But now that I'm retired, I'm seeing some of that returning in the form of a retirement annuity, social security and medicare, although because of that annuity, I'm considered "rich" so I'm being taxed on part of my social security income. I have also figured out that if I had been able to put all the money I paid in social security into the retirement fund, I would be getting at least twice and maybe three times as much back. (The retirement fund I was able to select is a private one for employees of colleges and universities.)
So, states should be able to establish systems to take over from the federal government these services; in fact some, at least for state employees are already in place.
Please pray for Tom Holman. We are told that he and his wife are living apart ( though he sees her as often as he can) because of the insane amount of death threats he is getting. Remember who he and those fighting these illegals are up against : it is not these decrepit DNC pipsqueaks. It is drug cartels, terrorists, traffickers which is just a chromo word for slavers and violent gangs who are just new incarnations of the old KKK.
Let's be honest. The Orthodox Jews in Israel have long attacked and persecuted Messianic Jews. We should stand with our Brothers and sisters in Christ as often as we stand with Israel because the Israeli government rarely rules against these braided old goats because of their power in the coalition government which is always fragile no matter who is in power. We should demand that the Israeli government respect the rights of Messianic Jews.

Can the info on the IRS scandal be copied and shared?

Great history on Obama, and sadly missing is his "3rd term" in office - beginning with Biden imprisoned in his basement.
I love you guys! Keep up the good work! I'm trying to get new peoples for you. God bless you and your families.

Great newsletter as always. And y’all thought you could get a week off…not when we’re living in Trump times.🤣
