My son hates me - he is now humming the Pink Panther theme - I guess that was my take on Lalo and Henry Mancini. Now we'll have to recommend TV shows like Emergency, Medical Center, and of course, Hawaii' 5-0 and Dragnet! Just the facts, ma'am!
An interesting side note on the Dragnet theme - the show was originally a mid season replacement, so instead of buying the tune, the creators just rented it. When the show went to the top of the charts they said - we'll buy it - the composer said, NAH I'll just keep renting it to you! So every time you hear it - ChaChing! $$$
