Election interference news: more on CCP “fake drivers license” plan; victory for Mike Lindell against Dominion

This week, we reported on an alleged CCP scheme that had been passed from FBI Director Kash Patel in the form of a declassified FBI report to Iowa Sen. Charles Grassley, chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee, at Grassley’s request. The plan, brought to the FBI by a confidential human source, was to flood the U.S. with fake drivers licenses to make it possible for ineligible Chinese nationals (as in, CCP-affiliated non-U.S. citizens) to vote for Joe Biden in the 2020 presidential election.
The worst part of the story isn’t that the ChiComms were allegedly doing this --- no question, it’s just the kind of thing we should expect from them. The truly horrific part is that our own government hid this from us, deliberately taking a hands-off approach with it so that then-FBI Director Chris Wray could get away with testifying, under oath, that there were “no known plots” about foreign countries influencing our elections.
We’re hearing of this, five years after the fact. Still, it’s gratifying to see some great investigative reporters such as Matt Margolis offering scathing commentary on it.
“The report was sent out [to the intel community] on August 20, 2020,” he writes, “but was abruptly recalled by the FBI with a vague excuse about needing to ‘re-interview’ the source. But it didn’t stop there. The bureau didn’t just recall the report; it ordered its destruction.”
The ordering-its-destruction part is something we hadn’t initially heard, and it’s shocking, though perhaps at this point nothing should shock us. Intel agencies weren’t just told to disregard the report on Chinese fake drivers’ licenses (China will knock off anything!); they were ordered to “destroy all copies” and --- just to be super-extra-careful --- “remove the original report from all computer holdings.” This is beyond sneaky. They didn’t just try to cover up the story --- they tried to purge it, to throw it down the memory hole and flip the garbage disposal switch. It’s amazing that the original report and notes on what to do with the copies even still existed within the FBI. (Maybe this was squirreled away in that “Prohibited Access” database.)
The evidence of this scheme was raw intelligence, meaning yet-to-be-verified, but the subject line of the FBI’s intelligence bulletin summed up what they suspected this was: “Chinese Government Production and Export of Fraudulent US Drivers Licenses to Chinese Sympathizers in the United States, in Order to Create Tens of Thousands of Fraudulent Mail-in Votes for US Presidential Candidate Joe Biden, in late August 2020.”
According to the report, China had harvested personal information --- names, ID numbers, addresses and more --- from millions of TikTok users in the U.S. In Margolis’ words, “That information was then used to manufacture fake IDs with real American data, making them nearly impossible to detect.”
(Note: it’s unclear how China was going to use the U.S. address data, as the report says, “A person’s address information was not a valid field when creating a TikTok account.” Again, something that would have been worth investigating!)
This story makes one wonder what other election hanky-panky the CCP might’ve been able to do that we never did detect. Of course, if we’d even suggested such a thing during Biden’s campaign or term of office, we’d have been flagged as “unreliable and harmful” by Google (which we sometimes were anyway).
“Despite questions about how TikTok got its information,” Margolis writes, “the report still offered actionable leads. But rather than investigate, the FBI buried it, turning what could’ve been a critical warning into just another piece of erased history.”
Make sure to read Margolis’ piece, especially the last two paragraphs, to get the full impact of what this scandal represents. “It’s time to stop pretending that this was anything less than a full-blown political operation disguised as law enforcement,” he says.
Thankfully, the majority of Americans have had their fill of those.
John Solomon is on the story, too.
In his story at Just The News, he said this report is actually one of two that have been sent to Grassley. The FBI had recalled it from intel agencies “with little explanation other than the bureau wanted to ‘re-interview’ the source, the documents stated.”
Solomon’s report confirms that the recall notice said recipients “should destroy all copies of the original report and remove the original report from all computer holdings.” We’re not sure we’ve ever seen an order like this.
According to officials who talked to Just The News, U.S. Customs Border and Protection had, in late July 2020, captured 19,888 fake drivers licenses, mostly imported from Hong Kong and China. Of course, withdrawing the FBI report prevented any investigation of this discovery amidst allegations that Beijing was trying to help Biden in the 2020 election. As Solomon observes, “...the FBI bulletin provided sufficiently detailed information for agencies to investigate as leads to make sure the U.S. election wasn’t being hijacked by a foreign power seeking to exploit a sudden explosion in mail-in voting during the COVID-19 pandemic that struck earlier in 2020.”
But Director Patel is now fully investigating. “Thanks to the oversight work and partnership of Chairman Grassley,” he said, “the FBI continues to provide unprecedented transparency at the people’s Bureau. To that end, we have located documents Chairman Grassley requested, which detail alarming allegations related to the 2020 U.S. election.”
Just The News also published the text of the FBI report, which is at the link below. It identifies their human source as someone who obtained his or her information from “an identified sub-source, who claimed they obtained the information from unidentified PRC [People’s Republic of China] government officials.” And, yes, it is prefaced with the caveat that this information “has not been fully evaluated, integrated with other information, interpreted or analyzed. Receiving agencies are requested not to take action based on this raw reporting without prior coordination with the FBI.”
The problem is, with the recalling and memory-holing of this report, the information never COULD be fully evaluated. The American people were never allowed to know about the allegations. “Source is available for re-contact,” the report says, but apparently there was no follow-up.
In an update late Tuesday, Arizona Rep. Andy Biggs is calling for accountability. “If there was criminal activity going on here,” he says, “you are running out of runway because the statute of limitations is just about over.” So the DOJ has to get on this before it’s too late to press charges and “some really bad apples” go free.
RELATED: Speaking of non-citizens voting, Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton has opened an investigation into 33 individuals who allegedly did just that. (Thirtysomething doesn’t sound like much, but it’s likely just the tip of a very large iceberg.) This investigation comes on the heels of an executive order by President Trump that finally unlocked the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services’ SAVE database, which helps verify immigration status and U.S. citizenship, whether natural or acquired. The database has existed under the auspices of the Department of Homeland Security and until now has not been available to state officials, for SOME reason.
Also, after a years-long investigation, Paxton announced in May that multiple individuals had been indicted in Frio County for alleged illegal vote harvesting. Would it surprise you to know that the people implicated include a county judge, a former elections administrator (big shock!), Pearsall City Council members, and a Pearsall ISD trustee?
We’re linking to Dallas Express, a subscription-only online paper, crossing our fingers that you can read the story there. If you can’t, we’ve pretty well summarized it here. Just wanted you to know that some states are cracking down on certain (blue) counties’ traditional election hanky-panky.

(Side note: South Texas distinguished itself for that sort of thing decades ago, in 1948, when Lyndon B. Johnson first ran for U.S. Senator and won by 87 votes. To be fair, the allegations didn’t apply to Frio County that time, but Jim Wells County, specifically “Box 13.”)
Here’s Paxton’s post on X, which includes his press release on the Frio County investigation…

BIG JUDICIARY UPDATE. We’ll leave you with a brilliant and much-needed quote from Trump-appointed U.S. District Judge Mary Kay Vyskocil in her ruling on Monday, which dismissed a lawsuit filed by teachers’ unions against the Trump administration:
“Our democracy cannot very well function if individual judges issue extraordinary relief to every plaintiff who clamors to object to executive action. It is not the role of a district court judge to direct the policies of the Executive Branch first and ask questions later.”
Oh, it goes on and gets even better. Enjoy…
Final note: If only all those sued by Dominion Voting Systems for “defamation” just for reporting what the election looked like to them had had the courage to stand up as Mike Lindell of MyPillow did. The verdict in the case against him has come in, and it’s overwhelmingly in his favor. Most importantly, the jury rejected claims of malice and punitive intent, confirming that Lindell was not driven by hatred but by the conviction of his beliefs. Mike Lindell can now enjoy (cue music) “the best night’s sleep in the whole wild world.”

Now, how about the stores that dropped his products because he expressed his sincere views bringing them back to their stores? You know, those that still have stores?
Christopher Wray has committed Treason and is subject to a Military Tribunal.
What Andy Biggs said is a huge concern, relieved that what we thought is being investigated, but act fast please 🙏🏻
