"Trump is going back at birthright citizenship, and this time he is putting the fight where it belongs: directly against birth tourism, foreign-agent loopholes, alien enemies, and the abuse of the Fourteenth Amendment. The old lie is that anyone born on American soil automatically receives citizenship because the Constitution commands it. The real history is narrower. The amendment was written after the Civil War to secure citizenship for freed slaves and their children, not to turn America into a global maternity ward for tourists, traffickers, hostile regimes, and immigration rackets."
