A Correction

For years, the Dems have gone into hysterics over the idea of a government shutdown, painting it as the end of the world.

We relied yesterday on an incorrect report that the House continuing budget resolution would require only a simple majority in the Senate. For some reason, it will be subject to filibuster, and Chuck Schumer and the Democrats are threatening to oppose it so it can’t get to 60 votes and pass, averting a government shutdown on Friday.
